Account and data deletion

Delete Your ObiCalc Account

This page explains how ObiCalc users can request deletion of their account and associated data. ObiCalc is operated through the official app store and website listings for the ObiCalc application.

Request by emailRead Privacy Policy

Fastest method: delete inside the app

  1. Open the ObiCalc app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Open My Account from the account/profile area.
  3. Choose Delete account.
  4. Review the warning and confirm the deletion request.
  5. If the app asks you to sign in again, complete sign-in and repeat the deletion request. This protects your account from accidental or unauthorised deletion.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request to support@obicalc.com from the email address linked to your ObiCalc account.

Use the subject line Delete my ObiCalc account. Include your account email address and your name if it helps us identify the account. Do not include patient names, medical record numbers, or clinical details in the email.

Data deleted when your account is deleted

  • Your ObiCalc sign-in account and Firebase Authentication user record.
  • Your professional profile details, such as name, specialty, hospital or clinic, country, city, mobile number and profile photo if provided.
  • Saved patient records and saved clinical calculation data linked to your account.
  • Cloud-stored profile photos and account-linked app data controlled by ObiCalc.

Data that may be kept

  • Records that you exported, printed, saved outside ObiCalc, or shared to another app are not controlled by ObiCalc after export.
  • Apple App Store, Google Play, payment processor and tax records may be retained by those providers or by ObiCalc where required for subscriptions, refunds, chargebacks, fraud prevention, accounting or legal compliance.
  • Security logs, support emails, deletion-request records and backup copies may be retained for a limited period where necessary to protect the service, document the request, comply with law or resolve disputes.
  • Aggregated or anonymised technical information that no longer identifies you may be retained for service reliability and safety.

Deletion timing and retention period

We aim to process verified account deletion requests within 30 days. Most active account and saved cloud data is removed when the deletion request is completed.

Residual backup copies, security logs and provider-retained records may remain for up to 90 days before they are overwritten or deleted, unless a longer period is required by law, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute resolution or security obligations.

Clinical and subscription reminders

Before deleting your account, export any records that you are legally allowed and professionally required to keep. Account deletion is permanent and may remove saved patient records from ObiCalc.

Deleting an ObiCalc account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions through the store account where the purchase was made.
